USA population is 4,22% of world population, and about 22% of China.
Population growth in USA was minimal.
Im not saying Trump plan will fail, because I don't know that.
Maybe that's gonna work, but maybe it wont.

I’m talking historically as the US population has grown the average income has gone up. The US will never be overpopulated to the point China and India are as having kids isn’t an ingrained part of our culture that puts a negative stigma on you if you don’t have kids. It’s not as pressured here.

Delusional. You just said you believe pirates would stop all global trade, which includes trade across landlocked nations that don't go over open water.

By your logic, countries like Russia, UK, Germany, China don't have military power to stop pirates (even though they are currently stopping pirates in waters that are not protected by the US)

No, i said that global trade would grind to a halt if America suddenly stopped policing the world. I was pointing out the success of the houthis as an example of what modern-day pirates can achieve.

If the USN still isnt capable of defeating the houthis, i can guarantee you that the rest of the worlds 3rd-world-tier navies cant even come close. There would be so much chaos that an abundance of countries would resort to piracy on the high seas. It would be an absolute shitshow and the only country capable of defending the world is America; there is no second place in this equation.

Being a pirate isnt just reserved for Somalia. The argument could be made that the EU has become pirates with the seizure of russian oil tankers.

Muslim pirates from Britanistan would be a powerful force. Full control of the UK Navy

Didn't have this on my bingo card. Starmer is seldomly right but acknowledging globalism didn't work for some is refreshing.

Quote
NEW: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to declare that globalization has failed, plans to show that he understands President Trump’s tariff decision.

The announcement is set for Monday, according to The Times.

“Globalisation doesn’t work for a lot of working people. We don’t believe trade wars are the answer. This is a chance to show that there’s a different path,” Starmer said, according to the Times.

“Trump has done something that we don’t agree with, but there’s a reason why people are behind him on this. The world has changed, globalisation is over and we are now in a new era,” a Downing Street official said, according to the outlet.

China is going to be the new hegemon and everything trump has done just accelerates this

The USA will be the new uk

China is one of the least future-proof countries on the planet due to catastrophic birth rates, untrustworthy currency, being long time rivals with virtually all of its regional neighbors, etc. China is not going to be any kind of hegemon, just a regional powerhouse. There will never be a Pax Sinica.

Are you saying catastrophic birthrates because their population has declined the last 3 years? Not trying to bait you, just trying to understand your definition of catastrophic. China was labeled as overpopulated for such a long time and now their population is at a steady decline, signaling a positive direction on their population issues.

impending demographic crisis, too many old people, not enough young people, no way to turn around their extremely low fertility rate, no significant immigration

The United States has a higher age dependency ratio than China does. With the US at 53% and China at 44%.

They also both have a fertility rate of 1.7. With China having a slightly higher increase than the US's increase over the last 4 years.

By 2040 China will have 28% of its population over 60. The demographic issue will become worse as time goes on, looking at age dependency today doesn’t show that. China also doesn’t have the level of immigration the US. If we wanted to we can easily grow our population through immigration because 80% of the globes population would gladly come here. Not sure the same can be said about China.
