Not to disrespect the other things you said.

But I honestly believe this hits the nail on the head.

"Buy Local"

Supporting ones community, whom also keep it in the community is the best way to flourish.

I agree with this whole heartedly.

The problem with both of our countries...

Community is gone. Big corps have fucked us for profits. Wal marts made us poor

you are banging on the unpopular drum.

Keep hitting it and people will take notice, good and bad.

at the end of the day, when we support our local community, things improve.
e- just make sure your community doesn't sell out, dont support those people.

I don't have a lonely life at all. In addition to a rich immediate family life, I just got off the phone with my father. Can you do the same?

Anyway, this is coming from you, who started in on this whole calling me "Cleetus" thing, a stereotype for a dumb white southerner. So you brought it on yourself. I'm nice to people who are nice to me. You bring out the ethnic stereotypes, you get them right back. If you don't like it, drop the Cleetus stuff. It doesn't hurt my feelings but it does open you up to retaliation. Kind of like how America is responding in kind to unilateral tariffs. I guess both you and Cananda feel you must be coddled and babied that only you are allowed to dish it out.

No i can't, my father passed away from the cancer he got from reading this post.

Why exactly does Canada need wildly unfair trade agreements balanced in their favor? Can't they just compete 1 for 1? Why do they need to be coddled?

Do you really expect to write incredibly misinformed garbage like the above, antagonizing the people who would engage with you on this and expect to be treated with respect?

Little guy has a list now.

And you have no argument. All you can do is obsess about the income, physical size, social circle, etc of some anon on the internet. You're a middle school girl.

Gonna chalk this thread up to hysterical leaf bros who are looking for Americans to use as emotional tampons for their trauma.

Since you apparently won't shut the fuck up, I'll make your case for you.

Canada has enjoyed an unfair advantage for decades. And now the baby bottle is getting yanked. Canada's export market is deeply entrenched in a schema based on trade with the USA. They will either have to retool to expand trade with EU/Asia, or seek trade parity with their southern neighbor. To me, the choice is obvious. Trump isn't even asking for much, just equality. But you don't want that, you need it to be unfair in your favor. So your leaders make idle threats because standing up to Trump makes Canadians howl with joy... an empty and very temporary feeling.

You're about to say all of that is wrong or uninformed, but you won't back your statement up with why.

Lmao no wonder no one wants to engage.

Sorry how is the USA getting ripped off again? Sorry you buy more from Canada than Canada buys from you but that's sort of what happens when millions of barrels of crude oil is sold to the USA who has far greater consumption than Canada ever could. Look at a trade deficit graph through the last 25 years and an energy export graph, pretty similar. USA gets what, nearly 50% of its crude oil from Canada. Now remove that energy from the trade and in 2023 the USA is in a surplus. USA has huge consumption needs so it buys Canadian crude. We have 10% of the USA's population of course export / import isn't going to balance the USA consumes a massive amount more than we ever could.

What unfair advantage is that exactly? Can you tell me what subsidy trump is on about exactly? Subsidizing Canada and all that.

"Unfair advantage? Canada sells the U.S. crude oil at a massive discount due to pipeline constraints, saving Americans billions on energy. Meanwhile, Trump himself called the USMCA ‘the best deal ever’, a trade agreement he negotiated. If America was getting an unfair deal, why did he sign it and brag about it?"

The USMCA replaced NAFTA, with stronger protections for U.S. industries. including dairy, auto manufacturing, and digital trade.

Canada is the largest customer of the U.S., buying more American goods than China, Japan, and the UK combined.

Honestly I think pard has just had a surge in people who have been in conservative echo chambers too long. All of this information is freely available on the internet and much of it is even put forth by many conservative and libertarian outlets but nothing gets through.
