And you quoted the Jerusalem post. I can say that its an idf source. The Gaza Health Ministry is still used by the west for official numbers. Its hard to count the dead amongst the rubble while youre being bombed and have no electricity.
Your "theyre using human shields" tactic is getting old fam. As ive stated previously, all combat footage (and theres a ton of it) from the strip shows the same strategy over and over: hamas emerging from their tunnels, running through the rubble in order to fire on israeli armor, and then scurrying back away. There has never been a single civilian in any video EVER.
Its fair to say that at this point in time, if the American taxpayer wasnt footing 70% of your war bill, the idf would be unable to destroy hamas without resorting to scorched earth tactics.
Discrediting a source because it’s Israeli doesn’t automatically make it false. The Jerusalem Post is an internationally recognized news outlet that references external investigations, independent analysts, and verified data — including satellite images, international think tanks, and NGO reports.
Meanwhile, Hamas literally controls the Gaza Health Ministry — the same group that Launches rockets from hospitals, Tortures journalists, Threatens anyone who questions their numbers
So if youre going to talk about source bias, you need to check your own sources.
Yes, the UN and some Western agencies cite GHM figures — with a disclaimer that they are unverified.
The Associated Press confirmed the GHM does not distinguish civilians from combatants.
Hamas has been caught inflating numbers, removing 3,400 names from past lists (including 1,080 “children”).
Even The Lancet, which he cited earlier, based their numbers on statistical modeling, not verifiable records.
So no — they’re not “official.” They’re propaganda numbers that international bodies repeat with caution.
That’s exactly why their numbers should be taken with skepticism, not at face value. You can’t claim precise figures if you’re under rubble and offline.
Either they’re too bombed to count — or they have exact data. Pick one
About the human shield claim you are either blind or dishonest:
Hamas’s own videos and footage from journalists show rockets being launched from schools, mosques, and hospitals. The IDF has published drone and bodycam footage from Al-Shifa Hospital, UNRWA schools, and civilian zones with weapons stashes, tunnel shafts, and fighters moving through crowds.
NGOs like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have confirmed Hamas uses civilian areas for military operations — it’s not a “Zionist talking point,” it’s documented war crimes.
He either hasn’t seen the footage or is willfully ignoring
Reality:
The U.S. provides ~$3.8B per year in military aid to Israel — which equals less than 1% of Israel’s GDP.
Israel’s defense industry is one of the most advanced and self-sufficient in the world, exporting billions in defense tech every year.
This isn’t a “scorched earth” campaign — it’s a war against a terrorist regime that hides behind civilians and turns neighborhoods into war zones.
If the U.S. pulled funding tomorrow, Israel would still defend itself. And Hamas would still use hospitals to launch rockets.
