The new liberal strategy is “focus hopping”. They scold the administration over one thing and when it barely phases approval ratings they switch to another subject.

Let me remind you these types of whiney tactics is WHY Trump won in the first place. No one outside of redditors, yahooers and people in their 30s still living with their roommates to “split rent” or living with their parents is falling for any of this.

Here are some facts:

1. Immigration is an issue.

2. Border security is an issue.

3. Drugs are an issue.

4. The US being the world’s “guard dog” is an issue.

5. The extremist LGBTQ+ (or those claiming it) using their platform to prey on people is an issue.

6. Public education has deteriorated and is an issue.

7. Government spending is an issue.

8. Fair trade is an issue.

9. National security is an issue.

10. Race baiting being used by political parties is an issue.

11. Biased media is an issue.

12. The US needing to be more self sufficient is an issue.

13. Hollywood involvement in politics is an issue.

14. Social media is an issue both for informational security and giving predators platforms with easy access.

15. Mental health is an issue.

I can go on and on but it would be like talking to a brick wall on these forums. The major issues here are that when people see “Red” they immediately argue instead of looking at what’s really going on… or they listen to people who aren’t even from the US. It’s absolutely absurd how many non-US citizens on here are telling US citizens what it’s like in the US. It’s like asking a modern white man what it’s like to be a black American in the 30s. Plain dumb.

Hey there, champ, I'm proud of you, you read some words. Sadly you missed the point. You see when grown ups and civilized people talk, sometimes they inject some things called analogy, metaphor, innuendo. In this particular case, it wasn't a statement about Hollywood Stars actually holding office, but rather, the injection (to the chagrin of viewers) of political messaging in media by actors who are in most cases far from qualified to speak as experts, instead relying on their charisma or star power to influence hearts and minds. It comes off as disingenuous and cringe, when the core intent of movies, tv, video games, etc, is to entertain.

Yes. Arnold and Jessie Ventura for starters. But having a Star does not make you part of “Hollywood”. It’s the walk of fame and is more of a hall of fame type thing and is not required to be part of the Hollywood agenda.
(Also ty for proving my point of people who aren’t living in the US trying to tell people who do what is going on here.)

(PS after a quick Google search there are a bunch of people who have Hollywood stars that have ran for or held office.)

Non-US citizen here telling US citizens what’s it like in the US:

None of these are you real issues.

US needs to balance the budget as your budgetary deficit pushes against your ability to borrow to cover that deficit. Chinese, Saudis and Russians ain’t buying USTs anymore. Euros are trying to step in sending you our pension money to buy US debt. Cryptobros buying USDT are trying to punch above their weight but total UST holdings by cryptobros don’t even cover a year of your deficit.

Trump is doing just that. Cutting budget deficit + trying to influence rates to make sure they can refinance debt as cheaply as possible.

Rest is just showmanship and bullying. He is a bully and it got him pretty far in life, so he is not going to change his tactics or style.
