And then this summer they can put the finishing touch on a championship team. Rockets must build around Jalen Green (just turned 23), Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson (both 22). Keep that young trio together to build the foundation of a dynasty. They can win multiple championships over the next four or five years if they add the right pieces around them.

Kevin Durant would be a good fit for the Rockets via trade this summer but only if we can get him at the right price. Dillon Brooks got under his skin in last night's blowout win. The Phoenix announcers mentioned the Rockets are trying to make the playoffs for the first time in four years. It's five years actually. I thought Dillon Brooks was just being Dillon Brooks. That's how he plays. I can't wait until the playoffs start.

Also I forgot to mention. See you next year, KD. Kevin Durant should not play again this season for a terrible 35-40 Suns team. It sucked to see him go down especially when the game was a laugher. 92-57 at the time he had gotten hurt. Rest up that ankle and get your mind and body right for next season. Enjoy that trade to a championship contender this summer. It will likely be Houston. You hate to see a Hall of Famer, a top 15 player of all-time, end his career with a team like the Suns. They have no future unless they can trade Kevin Durant and Devin Booker for a major haul this summer. The Suns needs a boat load of young talent and future first-round picks. The Rockets have all of the Suns' future first-round picks in 2025, 2027 and 2029.



The Suns have two more losses than Dallas and Sacramento for the 9th and 10th Play-In spots. Of course I want the Suns to miss the playoffs and enter the NBA lottery. They'll have a 7.1% chance to end up with a top four pick which will end up being the Rockets' 2025 unprotected first-round pick swap with Phoenix. A 1.5% chance to be the 1st overall pick on June 25. If the Rockets end up with the 1st overall pick I'd be very happy with them drafting 18-year-old superstar Cooper Flagg. I want the Houston Cougars to frustrate Cooper Flagg with their elite defense in the Final Four on Saturday night. But I'd also welcome Cooper Flagg to the Houston Rockets with open arms.

They obviously do on back-to-backs on the road against teams with a winning record.
Thankfully in the playoffs there won't be many back to backs. And they have home court.
Assuming they can lock down the two seed down the stretch. I'm really not too concerned.

I'm just glad I didn't have 250 Forum Gold right now. I'd have probably bet it on the Rockets ML against the Lakers.
Rockets just need to bounce back with a win over the Utah Jazz on Wednedsay. Then a tough game vs. OKC Friday.
