The flights departed and left US airspace BEFORE a judge issued an order for the now in-flight in international space plane. Thus, the order was not ignored, but was not issued in time. There was some legal write up about who has authority in this situation where DoJ asserted it does because of this above context.

TLDR, judge was slow AF and illegals technically deported before order issued.

To properly retire a US flag, ensure it's no longer in a condition suitable for display and then respectfully fold it, and either burn it in a private ceremony, bury it, or have it cremated with veterans' remains, or recycle it.

I have a Persian friend who found a low star count flag (in the teens) in some attic, and took it.
He jokes its for burning on a special occasion.
