My friend is experiencing a bug on d2r where he cannot play the game due to an error stating he hasn't logged in since 30 days and to try again when "online"


Every fix we've found seems to not work


Any help? Thanks!

Has he been online in the last 30 days and can he go online?

I don't believe he's been on the game in 30 days hence the message but it literally won't even boot the game, even though he's "online"

Found the solution, apparently the Battle.net authorization server ip were blocked in certain place, and you need to add the ip to hosts file.

“Adding 117.52.35.104 nydus#battle#net (change # to dot becoz link not allowed here) to Hosts file under C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts”

^ known bug this was solved a year or so ago

I didn't try this cause it started working for me after re-install etc.

But dude this question has been all over reddit and it seemed like nobody had the solution. I'm going to save this just incase it happens again lol.

makr sure ur logged into your correct battle net account this happened to me and it was because i was logged in to diff account

i believe had a similar experience. Maybe he can chime in on what he had to do to correct the issue.

oh no i read the comments =) thank you so much, figured if he chimes in about what helped him then we can have a good topic to go back to reference shall anyone else need any help and have a list of resolutions to try.
