The IDF do not target women and children..

As I seem to recall, Benjamin Netanyahu was recorded as telling the IDF to bomb homes. 92% of residential housing in Gaza has been destroyed or damaged. Your not very good with facts are you.

meanwhile...

Israel's expansion into the Golan Heights after the fall of Assad's regime is viewed as a permanent development, rather than a temporary one. While Israel initially took control of the Golan Heights during the 1967 Six-Day War, it formally annexed the region in 1981, which was followed by the establishment of Israeli settlements there. Despite this annexation, the international community, including the United Nations, does not recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights, viewing it as occupied Syrian territory. The most recent move, following the fall of Bashar al-Assad in 2024, where Israel entered the demilitarized buffer zone, seems to indicate that Israel is not planning to relinquish control over the Golan Heights. The buffer zone was previously intended to separate Israeli and Syrian forces, but Israel's military presence in the area has increased significantly, with Israel justifying its actions as necessary for security reasons due to the instability in Syria.

Israel's recognition of its sovereignty over the Golan Heights was further solidified when the U.S. officially recognized it in 2019, but the international community remains divided. Most countries still consider it to be Syrian territory under Israeli occupation, and a permanent resolution of the Golan Heights' status would likely require negotiations between Israel and Syria, which seems unlikely given the current political situation. In short, Israel's actions are likely to be permanent

TLDR: lets steal more land when the opportunity presents itself (israel is an expansionist regime).

I’m not going to comment on something I never heard Netanyahu saying.

As for the Golan Heights—Syria should have considered the consequences before joining Egypt and Jordan in an attack. By doing so, they forfeited their claim to the land. Unlike the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan Heights is a strategic asset for Israel’s defense, and that matter is sealed.

as for the expansion into Syria these are the orders given to the IDF:

To secure complete control over the buffer zone and other nearby strategic positions in Syria.
To establish a security zone extending beyond the buffer zone, focusing on removing all heavy weaponry and terrorist infrastructure that could post a threat to Israel, while establishing contact with local Druze communities and other regional communities.
To immediately prevent the reestablishment of Iranian arms smuggling routes to Lebanon through Syrian territory and border crossings.
To continue destroying strategic heavy weapons systems throughout Syria, including air defense networks, missile systems, and coastal defense installations.

This land will not be occupied in my opinion its simply cards to achieve goals with the new syrian regime.

I’m not interested in repeating the same argument—it’s getting tedious. I just want to ensure the facts are clear: Israel never occupied Palestine because Palestine was never a sovereign state. It took control of land that was under Jordanian rule after Jordan attacked. Those are the facts.

and the west bank is not an occupied territory?
it could be decades or never when Israel gives back what it has taken. while there is precedent, I am not convinced.

Occupied from who?????

dear oh dear. ok lets go

The West Bank is considered occupied territory because Israel captured it from Jordan during the 1967 Six-Day War. Prior to that, it was part of Mandatory Palestine and was under Jordanian control from 1948 until 1967. While Jordan's sovereignty wasn't widely recognized, Israel’s control over the West Bank is viewed by much of the international community, including the United Nations and the International Court of Justice, as an occupation under international law.

Interestingly, Israel itself referred to the West Bank as occupied territory for many years, especially in the immediate aftermath of the war, and even applied military law to govern the area. It is only in recent years that Israel has shifted away from calling it "occupied" and prefers terms like "disputed." However, in practice, Israel continues to exert full control over large parts of the West Bank, including through military presence, settlement construction, and restrictions on Palestinian movement, which align with the realities of occupation under international law. The situation remains unresolved, and while there is precedent for land being returned after conflicts, the complexity of the issue makes a resolution uncertain.

I will have to go back some of your older posts, just to see what you said about it at the time.

On March 23, 2025, Israeli forces engaged in a series of attacks in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah City, southern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 15 Palestinian paramedics and rescue workers. The victims included members of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), civil defense personnel, and a staff member from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The UN reported that these individuals were killed while attempting to rescue colleagues injured in earlier strikes. The rescue convoy, comprising five ambulances, a fire truck, and a UN vehicle, came under heavy fire from Israeli troops. The vehicles were reportedly advancing without proper identification or coordination, leading Israeli forces to perceive them as suspicious. The military stated that they targeted the vehicles, believing them to be used by Hamas operatives. However, the PRCS maintained that the area was considered safe and did not require special coordination.

Following the attack, the bodies of the aid workers were buried in a mass grave.

also to get back to your question, The West Bank is the West Bank. I am aware that the Israeli's have their own names for the area, a bit like how the Israeli's are fond of changing their own names.

Its very unfortunate that Hamas uses ambulances and un facilities.
Its always a tragedy when innocent people die.

The term “West Bank” is a translation of the Arabic phrase “aḍ-Ḍiffah al-Ġarbiyyah,” which refers to the territory west of the Jordan River. This designation emerged after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War when Jordan occupied and later annexed the area in 1950, naming it the “West Bank” to distinguish it from its territory east of the river, known as the “East Bank.

Historically, the region encompassing the West Bank was known as Judea and Samaria, terms with biblical origins. Following Israel’s capture of the area during the 1967 Six-Day War, the Israeli government began referring to it by these historical names, emphasizing the Jewish people’s ancient connection to the land.

So its not that Israel has its own names it is the name of the area its not even disputed

from a logical standpoint, calling the area Judea and Samaria is basically laying claim to the region, while calling it the West Bank is a better name, signifying its not YET totally stolen by Israel (but i accept its only a matter of decades)

From logical stand point the name of this piece of land is Judea and Samaria.

Jews are called Jews because they came from Judea another fact you missed in your Palestinian guide to the area
