Billy Mitchel, the plantiff in this case, allegedly held world records in the late 80s and early 90s in the arcade game donkey kong that have since then come under extreme scrutiny. Since then his only other accomplishment is suing people, as seen in this case. Most of the time losing the cases because he doesnt have proper evidence.

Karl Jobst is a youtube videogame historian. He made a [1] educational video about Billy Mitchel and his exploits in the late 80s early 90s before being sent court documents stating Mitchel was suing him, leading to more videos being made stating he was being sued.

Judge is a complete retard/got promised a bribe out of the payout.

No idea where else to really post it besides someones youtuber topic in Pard, so I figured I'd post it here and maybe one other place I forget.
Sorry if this goes against the rules, just thought it deserves mention, without having to gaslight some sort of low effort political implication or question on pard.



No idea, I just thought it was funny after all those Karl Jobst videos talking shit about Billy and this lawsuit that Jobst gets totally wrecked.
Guess he didn't have that Cartoon Network money to defend against hot sauce boy.
