How dare those democrats *checks notes* FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION.
Political messaging is about signaling your priorities to the voters. When Biden openly defied the Supreme Court on student loan forgiveness, Democrats and their media allies were either silent or actively cheered him on.
But when Trump tries to deport members of a hyperviolent foreign prison gang against resistance from liberal judges, they suddenly wake up and remember their love for "the rule of law" and defending "the constitutional order".
It's really not hard to see the Democrat's twisted priorities and their glaring hypocrisy. Remember the most famous political ad of the 2024 cycle about how "Harris is for they/them, President Trump is for you"? By emphasizing this particular issue, Democrats play right into this perception yet again, namely that they are fighting the hardest for the interests of hostile "others" while Trump is doing the dirty but necessary work to protect American communities.
It really doesn't take a genius or a professional political consultant to figure this stuff out. But if Democrats want to keep digging a hole for themselves, go ahead.
