Pretty sure the last student 'wrongfully' arrested turned out to have lied about Hamas support via UNRWA. Department of Homeland Security stated Ozturk supported Hamas. Have not seen evidence.

Your post about amendment violations is interesting.

With an hamstrung ICE of the last 4 years and poor border policy for the last decades, the US had serious 13th amendment violations. The best outcomes were migrants working off the books for cash at otherwise legitimate businesses, being exploited. Worse, working within the criminal segment or sex work, etc. Not only did this harm US citizens, but worse harm to the migrants. You'll find me calling* this the Democrats trail of tears.

I've always been an advocate that the justice system needs to provide the evidence to the public more timely. It is pretty normal for them to be slow with evidence and 'justice' which is hard to reconcile in our age of security footage on every corner.

We should all be rallying to free this woman. Anyone who believes in the freedom of expression and the notion that we should not allow a foreign state to have this level of control over our people. Even if those people are on a VISA.
