Just bought star upgrade and has been completed but I still don't have access to see stars, what did I do wrong and what do I got to do to get it started? Lol thanks

Did you make sure you chose the right choice? Buying the star and not the fg?

You either put up fg for a $ amount and when someone buys it, you get the dollar amount added to your star

or

You use your money to buy the fg and you don't get any money added to your star amount

so i did receive FG, which means I get FG, and whoever sent me FG gets my donation worth of the star?

correct.

the trade off is you spend money and get more fg, but no star value.

You have to offer up fg and wait for someone to buy your fg for their real $ and you in turn get more star value than if you bought fg from the site.

From the looks of it, you have clicked on 'Available' rather than 'Add'.
You purchased someone else's star upgrade, which grants you forum gold but does not apply the star upgrade to your own account.
From this link, if you buy forum gold: https://forums.d2jsp.org/buyGold.php - you will recieve star upgrades accordingly, or if you go through the star upgrades page, you need to make sure you're on 'Add', and not 'Available' in order to have a star upgrade in your name!
