How much do ya'll spend?

I'm lazy, and generally eat lunch at work in a cafeteria and then I'll half the time buy something for dinner and the other half cook for myself.

I'd say I probably budget around 500 dollars a month solely for my food.

My excuse to myself is that if I work some overtime to make up for that cooking time, spending extra money on food doesn't hurt.

What are your vices or successes?

Well, this is specific to budgeting for food monthly. I think about how much I save/spend each month quite often because I am boring. So I just wanted to have some convos about it.



This seems much more normal. That's around 250 a person. Do you smart grocery shop for deals and cook meals for the whole family to save on costs and being efficient in cooking?

My place doesn't have a dishwasher, I'd need to redo the kitchen to fit it and I am only planning on being in this spot for like 2-4 years at max so I don't want to sink money into it.

This makes me not want to cook as much because I have to clean all my dishes by hand.

I would say 90% of my monthly cc bill is on food and dining out

About $400 but I mostly cook myself so its relatively low.



Wtf unless you are growing your own food or buying dirt cheap in some bulk deal you must be eating peasant food white bread and lots of pasta.
