I know how ineffective government is, I worked at a medical research center which was part of a state owned university. There can be money saved and processes can be streamlined, but not by a social media and ketamine addicted CEO of multiple companies and his army of 20 year olds.

But sure, you can have the stance USAID was waste so all that money is saved - I 100% disagree on that statement and you really don't need a "genius" to cut all forgein aid because you don't value soft power or helping brown people, but I can see how you can be happy it is gone. Be aware that just because you dislike some spending doesn't mean the money is wasted though.

2. like i said, im not invested in DOGE or Elon, if social security has less fraud than they stated, good! i dont want social security to fail and fraud only ramps that up.

3. you asked for 3 examples, i cited all of the US Aid findings as examples but named one specifically. then also noted SS fraud. you skipped the large part of what they've uncovered with actual numbers attached, and jumped to SS, which again im HAPPY not sad to be wrong on.

I looked at the DOGE Website, checked two "high saving" grands and they were both to get more and better educated teachers, then gave up because that would have been clearly a smart investment and instead asked you guys for some example of big savings that were actually wasteful.

Its pretty gutting to be honest in such a pro corporate country that consumer protection is being gutted. If you have ever had to go down that road, and I have twice in my life, once for myself and once for the wife, you know exactly how miserable billion dollar corps are to deal with, and clearly do not care and there's a reduced threat of recourse, well we know how that will go.

Agreed, It on surface level from numbers released appeared it was more than paying for itself, something like $2.80 of money recouped for every dollar of cost. I could be butchering those numbers, but it was positive.

I've had to take on an airline and phone company in my time, two experiences that were indescribably miserable and only got recouped after going to the respective bodies for consumer protection.
