Because they do more than just a phone. Hell they can even create their own internet.

I understand that a phone these days are like miniature computers that can get online, watch TV, Movies and make bank transactions and so on, however, you are stuck with a hand held device that is inadequate in performance because of the size of your fingers & thumbs... just like old Arcade games... you have more room to play the game compared to an X Box etc... you can practically take a full swing at it physically in comparison.

The phone device is nice, but it isn't physically appropriate to enjoy certain games, shit, I don't like playing SF 1+ on playstation, x box, phone ... it is better played on an Arcade machine, as bulky as it is, yet more invigorating.

So do you shame poor little African kids when they don't have the most up to date stuff? Or do you support them for trying to make due?

Maybe some people don't have the comforts you do.

I use my phone for convenience.. but i switch to pc when doing more "hardcore" stuff..

But when my kids were born i solod 2 mqs in the corner of a delivery room cuz I had nothing else i could do lol.
Why not try to better the playability for those who don't have the option for anything else? It seems almost like gatekeeping LS from a whole demograph

You realize Ladder Slasher has been optimized for mobile play, right? My suggestion would only further optimize it. You sound like a boomer stuck in their ways.


Also, you shooting down a simple quality of life suggestion when you constantly make suggestions that get shot down by the majority of the community is kinda funny.

99% of the time of the time im up for QOL adds to the game. Don't reallly see the need to balance this suggestion out, as its bad enough doing mobile play. I can't stand it. You folks, I tip my hat to.

Your first sentence using Race/Poverty to prove your point is just ridiculous, I play LS on a PC with 1gb RAM which is WAY SLOWER than any phone device... I watch programs, play LS and also have this window open using my 1gb RAM PC, however, I get to play with EASE in comparison to playing LS on a Phone.

Now, if I am NOT at home on my PC, I do other things, talk to people, interact with other people, cook, clean etc, now when my Ex was in the waiting room, I was constantly thinking about her well being and fretting instead of going down to the local arcade store to play games, dang, I could have watched TV in the waiting room, but I CHOSE to be close to her instead of diverting myself from the situation... you should have just said, "when I take a dump, I can play LS on my phone."

I am stuck in my ways, however those brought up with a phone being a universal device (Nice, I like the fact it is universal) and RELIES solely on it and bitches about it are just minor things and get themselves out of the rut and use it as it was intended to be used for... You can not play Hockey without a Hockey stick aye... but imagine if your phone is use as one? Nope... ouch I broke the phone because it isn't a Hockey Stick?... your phone isn't a pot either, but the kettle is black when it comes to online things aye???

The moral of this thread is simple... you reap what you sow... you use a phone and you are stuck with the options available. Suck it up.

Brother, I’m suggesting a change to the game. No shit I have to deal with it. That’s why it’s a suggestion to implement a change. I’m not bitching. I’ve been doing just fine with the game the way it is. It would just be a nice change is all. Why you feel the need to type so many words arguing against it when you don’t even play on mobile is truly astounding.

You can not move because playing on a phone you need to push the Arrows right?

You occasionally press Whistle because of thumbs n fingers on the screen right?

You want to remove "Whistle Icon" and leave the Arrows option right?

Yes to the above... my vote, yet it isn't a great issue to be more careful when pressing the screen? or is it that our fingers n thumbs are too big for the screen (phone size) etc?

I understand, I just think fingers and thumbs N all matter when relying on a one(1) hand device playing a game. I hate it personally and sorry for posting my issues.

The issue is that the engage button and the whistle button are in the same space. Once you click “engage”, the whistle pops up right where the engage button was. So every now and then you’ll accidentally double-tap and whistle a wave. Not a huge issue — definitely not one that needs a lot of debate —- but splitting the “hide whistle and arrows” into two separate options would solve it. Only bumps from me from here on out.
