I highly doubt a wolf speaks English that fluently.

seeing america with this, and seeing all the earthquakes and tsunamies in asia, australia with it's crazy dangerous animals and africa which is basically sand and heatwaves, i keep thinking europe is a sweet spot to build a civilization on

It seems lovely but I'm sure it has its own issues (natural conditions wise I'm not even touching politics in any form on this forum)
I'd definitely love to live in Europe

We were darn near 70 degrees yesterday. Later today, we have a chance of snow flurries.

Welcome to Ohio.

Yes! We were in the 80s prior to the tornados here in MO/IL last week
Didn't get a ton of snow but we had snow yesterday and it's cold today

That's called natural selection. We used to have volcanos popping off everywhere so bad that would cover entire countries with soot. Dinosaurs roaming all over that would make Australia look like a petting zoo.
I gladly take this time period over the previous ones.

I was talking about geography and how its relative to time. Back in the day Europe was the opposite of sweet spot to build a civilization where giant lizards and massive volcanos were popping off.
Africa was the sweet spot to build civilization actually and that's where most of life as we know it originated from.

But if you are talking about purely from a hypothetical if there were no humans on earth and we had to restart civilization from today then I would say I would start where it's a bit warmer and plenty of food. Europe while relatively mild and safe from predators has cold winters. Makes it challenging when trying to get a civilization started.
