I'd like to suggest a two in one.

1. Block Users so it hides their post and only shows their username
2. unchceck sub-forums so they're not visibile

Reason for 1.
Interactions with some users can lead to worse situations.
Restraint is not necessarily the best solution when another user is persistent.
Ability to hide user's posts can lead to a more positive environment for other users besides the two involved.

Reason for 2.
Some subforums are prone to drama and giving the user an ability to abstain from them visually helps,
addicts have a problem, it's great to make a quick buck off an addict but that's not why I care about #2
I care about #2 because of the toxic attraction to certain sub forums.

Yeah I get it, it's a self problem, deal with it, type attitude.
But there are some toxic places and people,
I get caught in the traps and look like an idiot posting this thread because I look like an idiot in those traps.
Argue with idiots, get dragged down to their level and look like an idiot type situation.
It's frustrating.

For #1 I think it would have been implemented already if they had intentions of doing so. You can use extensions or make your own to block specific users. Here’s one that should work still https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=103349843

For #2 d2jsp likes holding people accountable for their own actions, so i’d recommend to simply disengage with certain sub forums and users prone to drama. Iirc if you inform a user to not interact with you and they continue to do so maliciously, you can get a staff member involved due to harassment.

This could also be a good excuse to do a social media break/cleanse. It does wonders for your mental health and makes you more productive as a byproduct
