Early this morning, Israel launched extensive airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, targeting multiple locations from Gaza City in the north to Khan Younis in the south. No where and no one is safe. These attacks have resulted in at least 330 deaths overnight, with some sources quoting 400+ dead. This marks the end to the tenuous two-month-old ceasefire with Hamas by Israel. The strikes targeted various sites, north and south, including a tent camp in Khan Younis, a Hamas-run prison, and a shelter in Gaza City, leading to chaos and destruction. Hospitals are overwhelmed with casualties and operating under dire conditions due to a lack of supplies and electricity. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated plans to intensify military actions, stating that the offensive will continue. These bombing appear to be the start of a new bombing campaign by Israel and are hot on the heels of Israel shutting off electricity into Gaza on the 9th March, highlighting Israel's goal of ethnically cleansing Gaza of its population. The likelihood now is that the conflict which had briefly paused in its intensity will resume with Israel hellbent on completing their grim goals.
