I'm playing Mosaic to 99 on NL. (97.4) I got rid of a high damage Infinity because he kills monsters I'm trying to build charges on, which wastes time.
I want him to survive and be a conviction/Holy Freeze bot.

Which armor and helm should he use to survive since he isn't using life leach to stay alive anymore?
He still has Fort/Andy's. Keep Fort for Chilling armor? Or is there a better eth def armor?
Helm? Something with DR?

Any advice is cool!

There's a bunch of options for both.

Helm:
Bulwark
Cure
Gaze

Armor:
Fortitude
Stone
Gladiator's Bane

It depends a bit on which content you're doing for example at Baal Gladiators is really nice so he takes a lot less dmg from Wave 3 Hydras.
Also should consider Defiance as Aura. Defense is great.

cure/ff
coh
low dmg infy

heals enough to stay alive, doesn't do enough dmg to mess with stacking.

Should I focus more on DR instead of % max res?
I think I'll keep the fort for chilling armor, but I was thinking maybe Griz armor with runes? Or eth Guardian Angel with a vex or the % max light res rune lol

Edit: Also, would Defiance be better or Holy Freeze?

probably go cure+eth coh. no cnbf is the only downside really.
If u dont want cure maybe go kiras + fort or stone (or coh if you farm cs a lot to overcap against conv + resurrected nonsense with lower res)
I prefer defiance over holy freeze because u almost never get hit. i think holy freeze delay is unreliable and wheelchair. also mobs are already slowed from ur aoe spam.
