LoD: Since damage is applied by the sentry and not the character, +% Lightning Skill Damage and -% Enemy Lightning Resistance do not apply.

D2R: Summoned sentries inherit character's +% Lightning Skill Damage, -% Enemy Lightning Resistance and Lightning Immunity Sundered stats

In patch 2.6 they even had to do a hot fix since the -ELR wasn't working as they intended for traps
