Yes, guys. The Lakers beat the Suns, 107-96. The Suns drop to 31-37 and remain behind Dallas for the 10th Play-In spot.
Dallas is 33-36. But even if the Suns make the 7 to 10 Play-In I'd like to think they'd lose. Hopefully NBA Lottery bound.

As long as the Suns don't make the playoffs they have a chance to get the #1 overall pick. Which the Rockets would own.
Kevin Durant is arguing with his head coach on the bench. KD already has one foot out the door this summer. Me gusta!!

I just can't believe how awful the Mavericks are. I don't have any faith they can hold off the imploding Suns for that 10th spot.
My best bet is going to be cheering for the Phoenix Suns to just get spanked when they enter the 7 to 10 Play-In Tournament.

It would be frustratingly comical if the Suns end up the 7th seed and the Rockets play them in the first round. I'd want a 4-0 sweep.

So Nuggets lost to Wiz yesterday?

Jokic drops 40 but is an absolute liability on defense as usual and he allows Sarr to have a CAREER NIGHT 😂

I went to sleep during the first quarter thinking the Nuggets would maul the lowly Wizards by 30 points. LOL

The Nuggets play the Warriors tomorrow night while the Rockets host a tired 76ers team playing a back to back.
A good chance for the Rockets to keep setting the pace for the 2nd seed with seven wins in a row. It feels good.

In fact the next two Denver games are on ESPN. Nuggets at Warriors tomorrow and Nuggets at Lakers on Wednesday.
And then the Rockets host the Nuggets next Sunday night. Hopefully that will be the Rockets winning 10 games in a row!

Rockets and the 76ers tip off in about 40 minutes. Rockets are -16.5 and heavily favored.
That's a lot of pressure knowing you should absolutely win big. We're all human after all.

Last time Houston was favored by this much. They had a 65-17 record. 2017-2018 season.
An unstoppable 50-5 that season when James Harden, Chris Paul and Clint Capela all played.

They had a 3-2 series lead on the dream team Warriors (loaded roster) in the Western Conference Finals but CP3's hamstring failed us.
This is what happens when you're good. The pressure mounts. The expectations are difficult to meet. Nobody wants to hear any excuses.

Some teams don't like the pressure because they can't handle it. They tend to fall apart when the lights are too bright. Mental toughness matters now.

It was 44-28 after the 1st quarter. The 76ers with the lead. :o

The Rockets will have to mount a furious comeback now. -16.5 spread. Yeah, right! Thanks.

60-41 76ers midway in the 2nd quarter. Their G-League roster is dominating us.
No excuses. Rockets were favored by nearly 17 points. We need Amen Thompson.
But that 2nd seed is going to be flushed down the toilet. We blew it guys. I'm sorry.

I'm pleasantly surprised the Rockets beat the 76ers 144-137 in Overtime for seven wins in a row!!
The 76ers were leading by 21 points (78-57) at halftime when I turned the game off feeling hopeless.

I figured the 76ers would have tired legs in the second half, and they gassed out in Overtime, playing a back to back. But they had such a crazy big lead.

Jalen Green had 30 points, 13 assists and 7 rebounds. The Rockets are now 10-0 this season when he scores 30 or more.
Jabari Smith Jr. also scored 30 points with 8 rebounds off the bench. Sengun only had 13-11 but he forced overtime late.

The Houston Rockets keep the 2nd seed in the Western Conference and will try to win 8 games in a row on Wednesday night at Orlando.
