I disassemble and throw my components in the dishwasher, just remove the CMOS battery and forgo the detergent.
I've actually put key-caps in a washing machine before hahaha. I let them air dry on my window sill for a few days and put them back on my keyboard.
Stop spraying when the can gets too cold & don't tilt it. You can also wipe down most components with a microfiber cloth
definitely this
As for monitors, I usually turn them off, spray Windex on a microfiber rag, wipe the screen, let it dry, and turn it back on. You can also buy anti-static electronic cleaner, but Windex tends to work far better and it doesn't leave streaks. I've actually had other IT Professionals cringe when I recommend Windex over anti-static cleaner, but most of them are dumbasses with dirty monitors.
