The agreement is a trap for Russia and Zelensky at the same time. Russia is winning, no need to stop without a surrender, so Ukraine could resupply. Ukraine on the other hand is going to break the ceasefire agreement sooner or later, Trump can then wash off his hands off Zelensky and declare peace isn't possible with him.
Sudzha is all but lost at the moment. That's the only lever Ukraine had in negotiations.

I am in no position to accept or decline peace due to conditions, Ukraine is. But I do understand why they would not want a favorable deal for the dictator attacking them, historically appeasement rarely worked long term. Luckily they are also the same people volunteering to fight the war, so I can just armchair from my home and rally to keep supporting the men and women willing to fight with the one thing we can easily give, money.
