yeah i read that someone idk exactly but might have even been someone who studied neurology but that could also be me mixing up info.. anyways they had a theory that diablo 2 works exactly like gambling, like roullette, black jack and slots all at once on the brain and tbh i second that totally 100% lmao idk about you but seeing for example diablos hp go down until you hear that clunky metal sound paired with the sound of some amulet or ring got me hooked to the point that i got countless D2+LOD packs at home that i got only for the keys so i can run 24/7/365 nonstop classic bots to feed my loot addiction 😂
