Hey there, so my suggestion for an SFF build would be:

Case + 850W PSU + CPU cooler all in one solution - NCORE 100 MAX - I really love this case, please keep in mind that for the steep price, you also get a 850 high quality PSU + a CPU cooler.
Motherboard: I would go for an ASRock B850i Lightning (Phantom Gaming)
CPU: Ryzen 7 9700X - it's perfect because it has amazing performance and is only a 65W chip, making it a great fit for SFF builds.
GPU: Radeon RX 9070XT (ASRock Steel Legend Dark or Sapphire Nitro+) - These GPUs are fresh on the market becoming available starting tomorrow and they are $600, offering an amazing value. Your power supply is enough to support this GPU.
RAM: 32 or 64 GB dual channel sticks running at 6000-6400 MT/s with CL32-30 for the most optimal performance.
Storage - whatever Gen 4 drive you opt for - I am currently using Samsung 990 Pro 2TB.

This fits into your budget and has a really small footprint on your desk - it does go in height though, allowing the case to sport GPUs of all sizes I believe. There's plenty of content online about this case and its pros and cons.

I think all this will set you back around 2-2.5k euros tops.

The case is hard to understand to be honest, seems hella cramped.

you think a triple fan GPU would fit this?

Hey - here's the GPU clearance from the size - it has an expandable slot for various GPU thicknesses.

Clearances - Graphics Card
337mm x 62mm x 180mm (Normal, 3.0 Slot thick)
Clearances - Graphics Card
357mm x 79mm x 180mm (Expansion, 3.9 Slot thick)

I think i will stick with the 4000d from corsair but appreciate your input, and appreciate the other suggestions on gear :) especially telling me about the incoming graphics cards.

Are they available?

Why specifically the ASrock? That used to be a lower tier brand, has it improved?

I just purchased an Asus AMD Radeon RX 9070 Prime OC

What completes this build?

Thinking so far:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
MoBo: Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6400MHz 64GB 2x32GB CL32
SSD: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB SSD PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2

Less Confident:
PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 ATX 3.0 850W 80 Plus Gold Modular [Enough power?]
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow [Can't find in stock, but the other 4000D have the inputs on the bottom of the case and I am a floor case kind of guy. have looked at others, not sure here]
CPU Cooler: can't even decide if metal or closed loop. Metal would be noctua blackout probably. IDK about the 240mm water cooling...

Other Stuff:
Keyboard - Razer fanboy
WebCam - Better than Logi HD1080p?? For recording videos, talking about technical stuff, tutorials, training etc.
Monitors?? I do not know if I would like looking at 1440p - I get headaches from screens and wear glasses. I prefer 24-26 inches I think. Been an Acer guy.
Extra fans?
Getting the thermal paste guard from Noctua for sure
Should I get a 10GB ethernet PCIe mini slot card? I may have the option of 10gb fiber soon.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for everyone's help so far!

Congrats on the awesome purchase!

It all looks great except for that motherboard. Some reviews state that it has high VRM temperatures, so consider getting the Elite or Pro variant of X870 chipset. It has better VRM performance which will help that lovely 9800x3d perform optimally :)

Can you suggest one with WiFi 7? Black theme, small amount of red ok

Thanks :)

I'd personally go for either Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite or MSI X870 Tomahawk - both of these offer great performance for the price.

If you want to go all out with X870E - consider getting an ASRock X870 Taichi Lite - it's among the best motherboards with the most bells and whistles for a competitive price. I would skip the ASRock X870E Nova - it seems that there are some issues with it and the CPU you are getting.

(I keep mentioning ASRock as their components have become better in terms of reliability in the past couple of years, and plenty of people buy them for the value they offer.)
