I played several max block setups with both spirit/sop/phoenix.
Its not as bad as you may think. FBR has a nextdelay on 10 frames. Meaning nomatter how bad ur FBR is, you will never use the FBR animation more often than each 10th frame.
And assassin has inzane FBR rates as well.
Its kinda the same when you play dual claw. It's not an issue that you do not have fbr stat increase.

Max block pheonix = Massive ar, massive damage with claws and knives and max block.

Depending on ur economy, budget and items availeble here are some stuff to use:

Hard to find, and possible exspansive:
2sin/3fury/adds/fools/2 soc claw (ideally with ias incase you wanna do more than just cast blades) It does not require ED%. 2 X LO = almost 40% damage bonus on average. Helps a lot. Direct scales with exception of a small nerf via CM skill.

Easier to find:
ETH ZOD Fleshripper: This is epic due to: Nice damage, has deadly strike/ow/cb, has slow, and has ar% bonus. And the fact that it has 0,75% dex and strenght bonuses. It can also be combined with psn dagger if you add that via ring/ammu/diadem.

Eth upped zod headstriker is fun as well. The idea behind this is that it has 100% deadly strike on its own, which free up all other gear.

Last is a wierd fools / ed / psn fanged knife, for hyrid poison dagger / blade sin.

Or well:
450ed/xxx ar/2soc/40ias/5ctc amp/eth self/LO LO knife could be fun too

I can build new planner. Theese builds gets between 20k and 40k ar, can be hybrided and has good absorbs etc or clawblock.
But need some time, as i dont have to much of that atm

3 bf plague is nice wep as well, both in claw and fanged knife.

You could even cheeze with lawbringer and lacerator.

94% critic, means you almost run around with almost constant 27k damage per BF hit.
Added chaos as block setup.

Keep bladeshield up.
Focus on fury, but cover urself in blade sentinels defansive.

The issue is the long starting and stopping animation of blade fury and blade sentinell.
Use kicks (and wirl of dual claw) as kicker strike attacks.
The long animation speeds also slows down ur traplaying, and offesnive and defansive pushes.
You can also add in a widowmaker vs defansive chars.

Using a none eth 300ed instead of the 2 assa skills grant's you a small damage increase of 400 damage, and a little more change % of bladeshield and sentinell. If the claw is eth as well we are talking 1k+ extra damage and most helpfull on bladeshield and sentinell.

It's not ment for pvm mate. But should work.

But i would consider theese stuff for pvm:

5ctc amp claw with nice adds
fleshripper ETH ZOD or None Eth LO

Else all is the same, you can lower fcr for guillaume if u want.

Bladesin is a fine character for solo p8 solo walkthrough. I did run one even in d2lod without all this buffed damage from d2r, and it was one tapping demons p8 nightmare with random none eth bartuc claw and bad gear. Did hell fine as well, and was very safe.

However, bladefury do not pierce and cannot pierce. So you will do a mix of BF and sentinell accomplished by blade shield.
The 3 skills also acts very different when it comes to ctc, crushing blow, deadly strike etc.
