I pray to God that you do not have to use the weapon you carry then. Because the reality of the situation is a man who is that large shouldn't be carrying at all. Your 67 year old mother? Yes I can understand that. Because she doesn't have the means to defend herself. You do. Just to reiterate though I'm saying your solution to the problem is worse than the problem itself.

I am glad I live in a state where carry is not legal, frankly. I think you would feel the same way if you experienced it.

I’m not Superman. I can’t stop bullets either brother and I disagree it’s similar to MAD doctrine. It’s a deterrent that works. In fact I’ve had people thank me in public for carrying and guess what haven’t been held at gunpoint again either.

Also your comment is pretty prejudice. My size has very little bearing on my ability to TRULY defend myself. I have 5 artificial disks in my back, repaired knees and I’m on blood thinners. A punch making me bleed could kill me.

Yeah they suck and look at it this way. Getting an abortion sucks even more. And yet there's men out there complaining that women get abortions and won't own up to their mistakes.. but these same men can't handle a little plastic on their peepee?

That's where I take issue.

What are you talking about?

All birth control is bad, on men's side as well.

Our position is consistent. No abortion, and men have an obligation to provide for and be a father to their children

I apologize then when someone tells me they're 6'11" and 325 pounds I assume they're someone I would not want to take in a fight.

If you have health conditions and you live in a state where it is common I can get that. I retract anything I said to insult your masculinity. I am not in the same situation so I can't know.

I can get behind that. If men are supposed to take equal responsibility, through a legal standpoint and moral one. I still think abortion is a solution to a problem for many people that is hard to judge.

You know I'm a Christian. I do not wish harm upon anyone innocent. I just think the American pro-life movement is being intentionally misleading. The overturning of Roe v Wade has hurt more young women and people that it has helped. I value the life of the living over the potential of life.

That’s generally the stereotype yes I’m aware and generally when we were growing up it was a great deterrent but like I said it’s 2025 and criminals nowadays don’t care they will take a life in an instant.

We aren’t dealing with mobsters anymore these criminals nowadays are feral and unorganized.

We have young women in red states risking their livelihoods, crossing state borders, having unwanted pregnancies.. and worst of all. Killing their unwanted babies after they are born.

This is the result of anti-abortion laws. This is the reality. I would much rather have the potential of life removed in its earliest stages than unwanted children born to suffer.

How can you be a Christian and condone abortion? It's pure evil, murder of completely innocent life and this position is not in dispute among Christians.

There is no hard stance against abortion in the scripture. If anything it is permitted (and committed) by God in Numbers. The best argument I've seen from anyone quoting scripture is purely based on interpretation not any sort of biblical inerrancy.

If you are aware of the religious history of abortion you would know that Christianity did permit abortion in the middle ages, they also did not believe in the soul at conception.

So ironically I'm an old fashioned Christian in this case.
