Nixon did do the deed, but this was used by FBI to remove him.

Nixon is possibly one of the worst presidents in our history. I don't care if he was set up. He was a vile person and he deserves all the hate he gets. But even he was set up.. he still cheated?? He still made that decision himself. We have audio evidence. Hard evidence. lol??

How was he framed?

OMG is the bar really this low? Nixon is a war criminal. He sacrificed our own economy and livelihood for Israel. He committed genocide in Cambodia. He may have had some good social policies.. but you can find that in just about any president.

I cannot believe how lost my fellow Americans are.. praising NIXON. The reality is he is just a terrible president. He is one of the key presidents to strengthening our alliance to Israel. You could argue he made the biggest steps towards the relationship we have now with the state.

FBI op that infiltrated the washington post, planted a fake journalist pair to take credit for what was a partially true and partially cooked up story to present to the public in order to drastically shift public opinion against him to all but ensure he could be impeached without blowback.

he's indeed a P.O.S. who didnt deserve to be president, but if that's a standard for removal we'd have about 30 impeachments. hell Jackson is the biggest P.O.S. that ever held office and he's on the 20$ bill, considered a legendary hero to most military members, and is the gold standard for a populist candidate.

This seems like a media = bad take. There are cases where the media is right about a person. Yes Nixon was "staged" in the same way a drug dealer gets "staged" in a sting.

Nixon will remain in my top 10 worst presidents. Not just because of Watergate.

in a sting the court case has evidence presented that shows cops were involved. in this case the FBI hid and continues to hide their involvement. why? because they're truth tellers with nothing to hide?

of course not, its because Nixon as well as a few other democratic presidents of his era, dared to question the FBI in their activities. jfk most notably. i forget what happened to him.
