So you like the fed government getting involved? Who determines the “illegal” protestors?

These protestors have no spine and stand for nothing or they would be educating people about the Holocaust, but I bet you every one of them will lie about it till the cows come home rather than having a open and objective conversation about it.

So you want the Feds to get involved. So much for the constitutional right to protest.

Over the past decade or so, it has become increasingly common for unanounced, "wild" protests favoring various left-wing causes to disrupt teaching and the academic exchange of ideas, in many cases with violence or brazen coercion - all while university leadership looks the other way and refuses to restore order, either because they're afraid of the mob, or because they actually agree with them.

So you want govt interference and regulation?

If the goal is to protect freedom of speech, yes why would you not be in favor of it? As to what would make the fed a fair arbiter, I think it is really simple to differentiate valid protests and attempts to silence the speech of others through violent or illegal means.

He’s not advocating free speech he’s in conflict with speech he doesn’t like just like his press room.

Violently silencing inconvenient speakers is not protected by your constitutional right to protest. The more you know

No I just believe their energy use would be better to educate people against the Holocaust.
But like others have said this flies in the face of their main narrative they use for censoring other peoples speech, even if those people have just milquetoast republican takes and are not involved in Holocaust education.
It's like those My Body My Choice people screaming that I should be held town and forcefully injected with experimental gene therapy so they can LARP, and Virtue Signal that things will get better.

You never know, he might claim since its not the Government doing it, it's completely fine, because civil rights only exist for minorities.

Yes, civil liberties only exist when the government both protects the individual from the government and protects the individual from other people. A society in which the government fails to uphold public order and safety and allows violent criminals to menace people into silence is one in which you have simply traded the formal authority of a meek state for the informal tyranny of a criminal mob. If my 92 year old grandpa has to stand on his street corner with the mauser he took off a dead Nazi because he doesn't know if the mob torching homes will reach this far before the government stops coddling them, the government is failing to do its job.

They destroyed higher education across the West.

That is an unforgivable crime and this has deep consequences that we will feel in the coming decades. They ruined the education of an entire generation.
