I think it's a good idea in theory, but given the nature of the people in the sa section I don't see it ending well. Scammers won't be able to edit a log, but there would be nothing to stop them from writing a false comment and later claiming the transaction was for that. Especially if the seller leaves it blank or ambiguous, the scammers comment may carry more weight if there is an issue.

I don't see how that is an issue in this case. You clearly have a seperate comment for yourself, they aren't shared and you wouldn't be able to edit someone else's comment. I still think this is 100% a nice qol upgrade

I guess my point is if you're worried about someone editing a log to show incorrect information, the same people would likely inspect edit what they need it to say

Good point. I guess a solution could be a system where after the fg is sent, there is an option for both the buyer and seller to confirm the log comment. Once this is done, it cannot be edited again.
