Depends who you talk to.
Any media any reports are going to be spun and spun until they find something that shines a positive light for them.
Wouldn't say any of this is a scam because all of these programs were voted on by former congressional bodies and passed by the executive. HOWEVER... because the current budget actions aren't being voted on by the legislative and passed by the executive you could say DOGE is acting without authority. This is not usually how the US government does workflow when it comes to spending.
Things that are happening:
1. Massive layoffs
2. Social programs being erased
Like they said.. it's going to cause an economic ripple that hurts the everyday Joe and businesses since that money is no longer in circulation. The inflation from the tarriffs will just hurt the economy even more because consumer confidence will go down and drag gdp down with it.
Some things that might happen:
1. Increased tax returns as less and less government money is spent. Or maybe the federal tax rate is dropped. Both accomplish the same thing.
2. More domestic production
3. Short term recession as companies reorganize their 5 year plans
4. Homelessness Increase due to cuts in social programs
5. Personal spending cuts in home budgets
6. More local business shutdowns
Musk floated the idea of a stimulus checks with all the money he found. Unfortunately US economic data showed that stimulus checks during covid didn't really help small businesses or keep people off the streets who were facing homelessness due to job loss. Basically only big business benefits from all this. They'll get handouts if shit hits the fan like they usually do.
Very well spoken thought process. May i add Mexico and canada also as well as China all have products we use / improve / and want and need. Going to affect everyone around the globe so this is a scam indeed. Thank you for commenting fellow human!
