Get vaccines if you want them and don't get them if you don't want them is not the great solution you think it is
Vaccines aren't just about protecting people against diseases but also stopping the spread which is only possible with high numbers of people vaccinated. This is why we don't let unvaccinated children go to school even if the other kids are vaccinated.
If a vaccine works, then it doesn't matter if others get it. You will be safe from whatever the vaccine protects against whether someone else gets the vaccine or not.
Which is precisely why nobody young and healthy should ever get a flu or cold vaccine. Neither provide immunity, neither limit the spread.
And once again, for vaccines that DO work, such as the MMR vaccine, it's quite literally a basic requirement for US Citizens to even be able to attend public school.
The reason they never reveal the identities of those who catch and/or die from measles? 99.99% of the time, it's illegals who catch and/or die from them.
Once again, not all vaccines are vaccines.
