where is the way off? trans shooters didnt exist until recently, now its a fairly common thing. this doesnt mean trans people are violent, it means the fringe of trans activists who were previously non-violent have become violent.
i dont even want to hear the "yeah but its a rare thing still" argument tbh, that never played when it was straight white school shooters. people die and we should do something about it if we can, i tend to think in both cases we cant do much about it, sadly. but not recognizing it for what it is makes you an extremist? odd take tbh. but feel free to clarify in context.
Most shooters are young loser males, that demographic happens to have many more transgender people now than 20 years ago. Young loser males are honestly the bane of the human race
Also since truth matters: The Q Club shooters claiming he was nonbinary was very clearly a tactic for a lesser sentence:
"Aldrich's attorneys have said in court documents that their client identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, preferring to be addressed as Mx. Aldrich.[57][58] Neighbors allege Aldrich to have made hateful comments towards the LGBTQ community in the past, including frequent usage of homophobic slurs.[59][60] Aldrich never mentioned being non-binary prior to the shooting and was referred to with masculine pronouns by family members.[61][54] Police testified they found rainbow-colored shooting targets in Aldrich's home.[62] Experts in online extremism have voiced the possibility that Aldrich's proclaimed self-identification could be disingenuous,[63][64] while the Center for Countering Digital Hate acknowledges the suspect's past actions and impact on the LGBTQ community.[63]" Citations can be found in the wikipedia article here:
