Like how? Lol games ded
They must cut down all other platforms and d2r. Then keep ALL gameplay on ONE .. 1 .. realm .. 1 console (PC)... they must lessen the options. Keep the player base to one thing. Dividing it to fifty trillion things, no wonder people get sick of it. There's no coherence. No leadership. The heores are scattered.
Bring back the old days. When they get something genuine, they must work to keep that. They didn't. 1 dollar a month could keep 1-2 employers working fulltime on keeping botting to a minimum, making the gameplay more genuine and people get the proper pay for their drops. Not that that should be the main motivation, but it's definitely less motivating to continue playing, when you find endgame stuff, and 95% of everyone else already bought it with money 2 months ago. It's dumb. It should work like this: People must work for their items. Then at the end, when people find good stuff, they could give that to up-and-coming players working hard. When you WORK HARD for something, you appreciate it more, it builds better vales, also for the pvp scene. The pvp scene in d2 is extremely toxic. And that is due to the buy gear-mentality. And that's also a big part of why it's bad. You give advice from a ground floor-view, items that work, and 95% of all others say Aaw no don't listen to him, he doesn't know shit, you must BUY your gear!!! Pay to win!! uuh ... no wonder why newbis get demovitated. And then you get people calling you this and that for decades later. I mean that's some shit right there.
They messed it up. Early blizzard could have made this into a money machine, with some regular hard work and moderation. But they chose to let the ship drift to sea with no leadership. Then they made a new carnival ship to cash in on the concept again. And people bought into it.
A lot of the problem is that people are easy. Jump on anything, but don't want to keep it. And that's sad, because it makes us too vulnerable to virus like d2r and dilatation.
