Do you think there's a high chance the war started cause NATO wanted Ukraine to join them? I'd imagine having my enemy moving closer and closer onto my borders would have me take steps to stop this. I do not want US imperialism, our culture has gone down the shitter and the less we spread it the better.
I could repeat what the Russians stated their goals were. But it doesn't really matter, you won't believe anything that comes from Russia. I could state what the Biden Administration and MSM claimed Russia's goals were, but
I don't trust their claims. In the end? I neither know or care why the war started. It's not my war and the US isn't impacted and should never have been involved.
I just want to stop sending money and weapons to Ukraine. If they want weapons, they can pay for them like anyone else. If they want money, they can sell us rare earths or crude oil. Like anyone else.
And I want US sanctions against Russia lifted, so the damage we've done to our own economy cutting off Russian supplies can start to be rectified.
The US has gained nothing from this war, should never have been involved, Biden and his cronies just used it as a money laundering scam. If Europe wants to go to war against Russia? Good luck. You can go it alone. Not our problem.
This thread just goes to show conservatives are gullible hacks who just buy whatever narrative they are sold, you people have been telling us russia is the enemy for 60 years.
Russia has NEVER been a US enemy. They have ALWAYS been a trade partner. Were they an adversary under the USSR? Sure. An Adversary we traded with and never went to active war against. Proxy wars were never conducted on their immediate border either. And even when we set them up to fight endlessly in Afghanistan, we were not equipping or funding the mujahadeen. Instead, we trained their leaders, then set them lose. That sort of came back to bite us. Remember 9/11?
Dunno who you think was claiming Russia was the enemy. It wasn't Conservatives. It wasn't even Democrats in the US. Not until Trump took office. All the way up through the Obama Administration Russia was a valued trade partner. The "Russia is our Enemy" shit didn't start until Trump's first term and the hoax, DNC-paid dossier. Though most of the thinktanks during the 2016 election were predicting that if Clinton won, an excuse to start the war would arise, using Ukraine as a proxy. It was the entire purpose for the US orchestrating the Maidan Revolution, and Biden getting in thick with Ukrainian oil companies in the first place.
But hey, what would I know?
