since jsp was too afraid to point out its obvious radicalization, let me change the tone of the topic

facts would point that this subforum includes less than 1 hands worth of actual leftists. democrats/liberals and republicans/conservatives now sit firmly on the right of center/farther right politically

and "actual leftists" are being radicalized just as much the borderline neo nazis are now

this will ultimately collapse the united states of america and the world around it if it doesn't stop, i feel this is quickly growing into the biggest issue the world will face if not put in check (currently radical right wing ideology is causing this, but radical left wing ideology easily could as well, pick your poison)

as always, what say you PaRD? i know this is nothing but a center right and hard right forum these days, but if you value humanity you cannot be blind to this

if you come here to argue what an american democrat or republican is on the political spectrum your voice will echo in this chamber, and only this chamber

nah, the internet isn't real life

I see plenty of people of all political affiliations getting along perfectly fine when I dare to leave my mom's basement and touch grass

If everyone around you is radicalized, that is evidence that you are the radical odd one out among normal people

at the company i work for, there was a meeting held because too many people were talking politics, and the discourse was causing people to write racial slurs on the bathroom walls

this is an incredibly diverse group of people, when a meeting was held there was literal verbal protest when the subject of "no politics in the workplace" came up.

you are by far the most radical user on this subforum and a poor troll

You're trying to skew the results with how you phrased your question. I reject the question; the political climate isn't as polarized as you make it out to be, at least in real life.

I think its easy to see the political normalization in 2020-now as centrists and some liberals slipping too far into the right win sphere. i tend to disagree overall but on certain topics its for sure true.

but this is largely coming because the center discourse was "too far left", as was policy. its a pendulum, trump will temporarily ensnare people and the failures that inevitable come from his presidency will drive people back left.

but i obviously understand your perspective, as part of what drove people republican was trans issues. the same way i'd understand how a latino feels this way given how much of a focus immigration was. just realize that white people felt under attack and that's part of what drove them to republican vote. i personally think a lot of the fear is misplaced in most of the cases, even if all sides have gripes i can understand.
