yup, waiting for an american team to even get close to that many cups won. keep dreaming while i wait. i will probably only be alive for another 50 years or so, and will probably never get to see it. haha
either way, im not the one who says someone born in Canada isnt Canadian, but keep jumping through hoops for a poor attempt at making a valid argument.
again, ill repeat myself so you may have a chance at grasping this... the fact that american teams are stacked with Canadian players is all you need to understand, but that seems to be too much for you.
edit: 55% lol
https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/comments/15boes1/stanley_cup_won_by_players_nationality/#lightboxthat means that more than half of the players that have their name on the cup since 94 were Canadian. again, cope harder
oh, and its called the Gulf of Mexico.
To determine who is the best team in the NHL, and thereby which country is the best in Ice Hockey today, there is an event. It's called the Stanley Cup. The winner of the Stanley Cup for over 30 years straight is the US.
You should be highly concerned about the number of "Canadians" who play for US Teams. But not just that. You should be concerned about the number of successful Canadians who live in the US and work for US Companies. Once again, the US is the best at Ice Hockey. We have been for over 30 years. What happened prior to the US investing in Ice Hockey? Is irrelevant. When Canada invests in it's own people again, rather than simply robbing them, perhaps Canada can be best at the sport they created again. Until then? Cry more, kiddo.

You sound like a Packers fan, tbh. "The top Superbowl winning teams are the Steelers and the Patriots." "Nuh uh! The Packers won a bunch of championships + their superbowls! They have the most, they're the best!" "Wut? You're talking from when the NFL and AFL were a thing, there was no playoff system, and the most popular team from each league was appointed to play each other? Yeah, those weren't Superbowls, and you're stupid."
