Trump's policies have always been particularly harmful to his voter base. But people are so far gone they'll lose their social security and still defend the man. I do feel pretty sorry for anyone who voted for Trump. Because I don't really want anyone to suffer. It's not a lot of American's fault that they are so preoccupied with work and their bills, as well government and media brainwashing.

Trump won all the farm belt states by such overwhelming margins that he can easily shed a few pissed off farmers who lost access to their government pork (pun intended).

Also, isn't it curious? The Trump admin is doing the right, principled thing, even at the risk of negatively affecting his political support or approval ratings - yet the liberal side frames this in a negative light.

yeah renaming the gulf of mexico was a really right, principled thing, that made total sense. if you're a racist twat that is

Well if it was 2016 again he would probably build a 1km tall wall all around it with with lasers, sharks and crocs, and make Cuba pay for it or something.

Weak deflection. The debate was about the Trump admin cutting down government spending and how this hurts his own supporters. I don't really care about symbolic but irrelevant stuff which hurts no one like the Gulf of America/Mexico thing.

op

I love this administration so far. Using a legal apparatus created by the Obama administration to expose the extent of the corruption of USAID, bullying other countries into compliance via tariffs, terrorizing illegals, and perhaps most of all, causing leftists anguish and hopelessness. I only hope it continues to ramp up in this direction, for the next 12 years of the Trump/Vance dynasty.

It is a broken promise, in a way.

But I was expecting a lot of that. You can't promise rainbows and butterflies without failing to deliver.

I'm just hoping the economy doesn't go full recession on my end.

Like obama said in 2020.
2016 was his economy.

Therefor we're still living in Biden's Economy.

it works both ways, see what I did there?
