You'd like to continue with geno? I think Seattle needs to move on and find an actual qb that can spend some time with the hawks. Geno threw for over 4k but had 15 picks and only 21 tds
I think Geno Smith is comfortably better than 18 quarterbacks. I don’t think he’s the future considering his age. Given the fact that Geno’s numbers have declined overall has a lot more to do with the offensive line getting worse year over year. 25th?—->29th——>31st. This year especially they ranked 29th in running back carries and I believe were top 5 in pass attempts.
You have one of the worst offensive lines and run games in the NFL. While running the offense primarily from shotgun with almost no disguise. It doesn’t excuse Geno from his turnovers and I’m not arguing he’s a top 10 QB. At the end of the day though you’re sitting on an above average QB while trying to make that guy play hero ball with no support, unless it’s a generational talent…you’re going to have a bad time.
Seahawks have talented skill positions but that isn’t relevant when the offensive line can’t block long enough for a run or pass to develop.
