Surprised to not see a ton of topics here, or is it just because the end of the season?
I really felt this game had a TON potential to compete with d2r.

I would like to know beffor I decide if I want to play this game as I really don't get much free time to game these days.

Not at all, new season starts Thursday and will have really high player numbers given how PoE2 kinda dropped the ball. Check reddit its very active and tons of hype over the new season

as someone who experienced the launch of this game, i can confidently say that most d2jsp users ran away from last epoch because in the first 2 ladder resets there was actual infinite gold exploits going around and the economy was completely destroyed due to it (one night you go to bed, lets say you have 100m and you're saving for a super good item that cost 150m, you wake up a few hours later any every single item on auction is soldout, the trash items that were 5m before are now 1.5b and its all over, the day before you invested lets say 10000fg on some gold and now thats worth 50fg

idk if it kept happening in season 3 onward, i stoped giving a fuck about this game after the 2nd season with infinite gold abusers

i somewhat had a different experience in the last cycle. Was that within the first week or later? i droped this game early back then cos they balanced everything in a way that felt very clunky to play, that was mainly the reason why me and my buddies dropped the game early. But the Merchant guild was full of 1-3lp items which got sold for 10000-100000gold (cos ppl just wanted to lvl the guild), that's why i didn't even need to look for more gold on jsp. The only exception was the high end gear for Aspirational Builds. I didn't even bother to look for those items cos they are always way over the top in terms of pricing.

the game is amazing to play in ssf mode. Increased drop rates and various ways to target farm items you need. And yeah, dupes.
