about the lakers getting cold feet and backing out of the mark williams trade. Because charlotte is a small market team not only does this massively damage us in terms of mark possibly not wanting to play for us it also damages our rep.

Im very proud of my charlotte team for continuing to pursue any actions against LA

..as even LA has said that there is nothing wrong with Mark, saying this quote below...

[Charania] The Charlotte Hornets have been in contact with the NBA as they explore options to dispute the Los Angeles Lakers' failed physical assessment of Mark Williams, sources tell ESPN. The Williams/Dalton Knecht trade was nixed Saturday, and now Hornets weigh avenues to challenge. - 4 days ago

Bobby Marks on the Hornets filing a grievance with the NBA on the Mark Williams trade: “If the trade was [only] Knecht for Williams would the Lakers have passed it? Maybe. Maybe not. Let’s face it, every player in the NBA, you could find something wrong with them.” --- 3 days ago

[Marks] I’ve heard from multiple teams on this with the below questions:

And from the weekend

I’ve heard from multiple teams on this with the below questions:

-Should it be solely up to the team and their medical staff to decide if a player fails a physical?

What is the criteria for failing if the player is playing and healthy?

-Should there be a 3rd party involved to mediate a situation like this?

-Despite the deadline passing, should teams be allowed to amend a trade (draft compensation only), if there’s a concern re: physical?

Looks like we’re the sacrificial mule that will likely cause a change in the next CBA to prevent the Mark Williams situation from occurring

Yo I dont think this is going to make Charlotte look any worse

Charlotte will have its time they just need a good Draft like the next wembemblablah and then have that dude win the dunk contest and have Kenny make a multi generational saying "ITS OVER LADIES AND GENTLEMEN" then get to a 2nd round then and lose heroically their past wont matter everyone will love them

A trade made on the final seconds of a 4+ month window fell apart? Shocker

I don't see any issue here

The real issue that needs to be discussed is how the Lakers got Luka Doncic for a bag of chips while the Mavs didn't even bother shopping the player who might net the biggest return in NBA history? Just gave him away for a pick and 32 years of glass?

Cuban sold the team last year and the NBA made sure to get the right owners. They are going to gut their team in order to threaten the state of Texas to build a casino or they will move the Mavs.

The league will do anything to keep LA relevant. It's pathetic at this point.
