On the one side, you have Rachael Maddow throwing a shitfit that Elon got a $400,000,000 contract to provide Tesla Armored Trucks to the federal government.

"OMG! Corruption in government! Throw out Elon! Impeach Trump! Press charges!"

Meanwhile, Ana Kasparian, self-hating Armenian democrat who works for the Young Turks, named after those who genocided the Armenians points out, "The Contract was provided by the Biden Administration, was last altered in December 2024, and has nothing to do with Trump. Further, Trump has not filled the contract, nor does he plan to, nor is Elon requesting it."

Right now, the #1 thing about imagining being a Democrat? Learning how to tell the truth, and keeping tabs on other democrats who haven't told the truth in Decades.

I don't think its that bad of a time to be honest. You get to work on re-inventing the party image. Something that needs to happen for both parties time to time. Its why change in leadership happens constantly. One forces change out of the other. Its part of an overall progressive society. Liberals push new ideas, they overpush, conservatives reel things back in when overpushed but the net is overall progression.

It will be interesting what changes come from it for the next platform. Clearly there was lots of fed up democrat voters sitting on the center line who are upset with their party and sent a message.
