I haven't cleared a million maps or anything, but I am sneaking up on level 94 and I still have not seen a single level 20 gem. I'm playing hardcore so I haven't been a huge fan of Breach, I still run it but not with my higher maps. I am running level 16 boss maps with +2 levels when I can, but how rare are these things or am I looking in the wrong place?

I also have +4 to map boss difficulty.

82 zone is only place i found em, so t16 map and +2 lvls from atlas

ya, I finally found a good website for it and it was saying at level 82 every 1 out of 80~ish could be a level 20. Seems like my bosses should have a chance regardless, but I don't think I've seen 80 skill gems just from pumped maps yet.

You can also use a Vaal Orb to corrupt a level 19 gem for a chance to get it to 20. If you do, make sure you have all gem sockets/quality upgrades you want on it first

Found them from 81 maps

They have a small chance to drop from normal mobs in 82 maps, rares in 81 maps, and bosses in lower level maps if you've filled out your atlas tree. Still a very rare drop. I've personally found 2x 20 skill gems and 1x 20 spirit gem, but I've also dropped tons of divines and 3 Perfect Jewellers.

T16+ irradiated+ corrupt

I've found a couple in lv 82 monster lvl maps which is t16 + irra + corrupted

I also think they don’t exist ran stupid amounts of 82 +2 maps never saw 1…
