from the beginning I've been addressing the overall performance of the GM, but in a vacuum giving up a pick to have the honor of handing a max to BI is a high risk move that probably flops. he is injury prone

Ingram turned down 4/140 according to insiders, so the Raptors are going to be giving a max contract to this guy who misses a ton of games....

also the Raps have too many wings and they just invested in RJ. maybe they're going to pivot off him?

there's no spacing if your team is IQ/RJ/BI/Barnes/Poeltl

Don't think rj is a real wing, he's better off playing SG. The biggest fuckup and every fan was really upset and didn't agree was, trading for poetl. No doubt his biggest blunder.

Have no issue with him trying to make it work with fvv siakam and Barnes etc. Rebuilds are messy and long. You don't get any real talent or upgrades to your roster at 22-24 in the draft. His extension is 3/120 which isn't a max? Not sure what your even looking at for info " certain insider" ?

They kept their own pick, which is important.

a lot hinges on where they land in this draft and if Scottie/RJ can take a leap. they can be a top 6 team next year if it shakes out

Yea it does, but if they can get a real difference maker, they'll be solid and can add to the roster in the future since the main core of their lineup, Barnes iq and this year's pick, will be young.

Also shead Walter can take leaps next year. Let's see how they finish the season

Gave Barnes a deal he doesn’t deserve
Didn’t sell Poeltl fearing backlash and gave up a lottery pick for this average center
Overvalued the core of FVV/Siakam/OG/Barnes
Gave up a pick for the privilege of overpaying Brandon Ingram to play 45 games a season
Raps going into cap purgatory with no good rookies on cheap deals
Acquiring cheap young unknown talent was his best skill and now he’s deliberately skipping that step to trade for role players

I think you are looking at the last 5 years after winning a championship in the wrong lense.

You seem to believe the league would let Toronto win again. Come on man. The league let us one win once, Toronto isn't going to get a dynasty. Can we be real dude?

We didn't sell Poeltl becuase he is a fan favourite and a good player. He is like the best 5 in the league right now actually. he is a rock solid 20/10 center in this days NBA. Dont talk shit about Poeltl dude.

You claim every single trade is an overpay. Thats just not true. You fail to recognize that Giannis contract isn't even that big of a contract anymore. You need to calm down with presuming every single thing is an overpay.

Toronto fans appreciate that We didnt Trade FVV at the deadline. We wanted Siakam to end the season in Toronto too. We just won a chip we don't have to grit our teeth every single night to get back on top we have respected our players up to and including everything we have done for Poeltl and all of that good heartedness is paying us back in spades.

You are fucking mad that we got BI for trash. Are you dumb dude? Seriously? We traded away a retiring Kelly olynyk and scraps for fucking BI. Honestly you are legit just jealous that must be why ur so mad.

Besides this is all going to shape the package for Giannis baby Giannis coming to T.Dot aint nawta ting u can rip it bludcloot

I do give you some credit yes Masai hasn't made every single move perfectly totally we can say that but one thing he has done is replaced an entire championship team with a lot of players that are fun to watch and fun to watch them grow.

The product Toronto has on the floor right now is actually pretty good and fun to watch and that can only mean good things in the future so in that regard Masai is doing this rebuild really well
