The entire basis of the game has always revolved around the ability to find your own gear. They’ve softened their stance by permitting trade for many items but nothing about the core functionality of the game has change. It’s just kind of a side option for folks.

Drops are tuned for SSF. You can easily target farm bosses for specific uniques and uber uniques. It’s just an SSF game that allows trading on the side. Whether folks think that’s a good thing is debateable, but that’s just the way the game is structured.

That is not how this game works lol. It doesn’t even have an offline mode to start off a strong point for ssf players. I do agree with you that yes there are players who find fun going ssf. But majority of them do not ssf, they trade or rmt or they will be here in d4 subforum.
Claiming d4 is ssf majority based is such wild statement.

Ofc it's ssf based, what are you even on about. It's a KFC mobile game made for console daddys with no intention to trade. No offline mode argument in 2025 is pretty wild

LOL I’m highly highly skeptical a majority of users RMT and trade in this game simply because the game doesn’t have an official SSF mode. I’m also genuinely baffled that someone could believe the majority of d4 users are on jsp. But go ahead and believe as you wish.

The game is easy. You can get to max level in a few hours. You can subsequently target farm all your needed uniques within a few hours more and then have your mythics not long after. Folks can do what they want but I wouldn’t assume the extremely small contingent of jsp d4 users is wholly representative of the vastly larger user base out there.

Jsp/rmt/ any forum or page/group is called trading. Hop on them see how many people trade on daily basis. I said i agree with you that there are players who enjoy ssf. But majority are trading everyday lol.

Yes I know what trading is but thank you for clarifying lol. I’m not denying there are people who trade. I’m doubtful that the majority of the playerbase trades, and I’m highly highly doubtful l the majority of the playerbase rmt’s their gear. That’s the difference.

that's exactly my point. i'm not referring to jsp only at all. there're plenty of other trade platform out there. websites, facebook group, discord, and ofc rmt... even my clan people trade off with each other. so i don't believe majority is in for the ssf like you stated. but yes some players do enjoy their ssf journey, keep the fun game last longer i guess

Maybe im just too fixated on the literal definition of majority. It’s like going to a movie theater on a busy Saturday and it’s packed. Just because there are a lot of folks in the place doesn’t mean a majority of the city is at the theater.

At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter. But I think you’re mistaking activity you see for a “majority”. I’m skeptical it’s even close. But I can’t say either of us have metrics to back it up.

Trading is a huge part of the game... or at least it was supposed to be, so was socializing...the fact D4 killed all of this and you just do it all alone sucks, wtf is the point, to watch yourself kill things faster?
