Does Lightning Fury use Attack Rating?

the lightning portion doesn't. there's still a physical throw that also pierces, and ar affects it. ar impacts your mana leech, basically.

Really? But the phys part of the attack does not rely on the AR, does it?
I thought that is "always hit, unless blocked/dodged"

I thought that too but it he physical portion does always hit too. It’s just the pierce that’s treated like a regular throw

Lightning Fury does not require AR, it always hits but it can be blocked
