Don't get your hopes up too far on things. Trump's method of negotiation always starts from stating intent that is entirely harmful to whoever he's negotiating with. They bluster for a bit, then typically cave to terms that favor them more, but are still far better for Trump's goals than what their original intentions had been.

"Hey! We're going to impose tariffs!" "NOU!" "They're live." "Nah bro! We'll work border security with you, holy shit hombre!" The question is, exactly what will he settle for on a compromise deal?

Remember that America started as an overseas colony

A US Gaza colony could flourish into the future, spread and become a joint US-Israel white state that dominates the region & marginalizes the Muslims. Straight winning basically, it's hard to oppose this. Crusades are back on the menu

Just for the record, I'm not about any of this.

And the result of the American colonies was the loss of those colonies due to poor administration, the support for Napoleon, the strategic waiting of support in WWII, and the eventual demolishment of the British Empire.

Not sure comparing America as a colony to a potential new American Colony is a good plan.

My main idea is that it's a rational and moral imperative for us to expand our population & culture across the globe, harnessing natural resources where available, displacing & marginalizing our enemies & plundering their treasure, instituting American military hegemony & common law.

No one can say that the Age of Discovery wasn't a success for Europeans. We spread our wings to the New World and thrived. We can do the same thing to the wretched corners of the Old World. It's an absurd tragedy that we haven't done this already given we have the means.

It's neither rational nor moral for the United States to expand across the globe. We were founded as a trade nation and spilled the blood of hundreds of thousands to secure our ability to live and trade as we choose.

Expansion is only rational - was it irrational for the US to expand westward? By remaining isolated & deliberately not expanding, all that happens is other powers are allowed to expand instead, who can then grow more powerful and eventually conquer you. For example, if the US pulls out of the Japan-Taiwan-Phillipines pipeline, China fills the vacuum

The US is already an Imperial power, just de facto and not de jure.
