I accepted the fact that he's a scammersson. Honestly, I think we have to keep him at this point, because we won't win the trade. At least with a true superstar like Hughes, scammersson will be back to ppg pace. Just gotta pray his knee heals in the next few years. When and if that happens, he will be amazing again.

On the brightside, our new d core is sooo much better than ever. I hope Marcus p gets signed to term. Hoping in the future it will look something like

Hughes - Williander/Mancini
M. Pettersson - Hronek
D Petey - Myers

The team can finally play to Tocchets system, unlike before when only Hughes could help the forwards, while the rest of the backend dumps the puck like juulsen and wonders why the forwards on ice without Hughes can't do much.

I’m very excited for having some forwards that actually know how to bring the puck to the net. If ep40 can even just bring his game back to the mid point of last season the team should be playoff bound

When Miller took his LoA, and Petey got the minutes with Hughes, he was playing well. So hopefully that continues when Hughes get back into the lineup.

Also that 5.5m deal is solid,absolute steal for a top4 dman.

Solid game last night. All these new guys are bringing some consistent work ethic to the roster. It’s nice to see. Hopefully they pick up where they left off after the break

What a lacklustre team we have become again. Should we sell it all and start fresh or is the re tool still a thing at this point?
I feel like it should be an interesting next 5 days days the way things have been going but I have a feeling it won’t be.
