speculation:

new poe1 stuff like Pox's league AND official stuff coming soon. People are maybe preparing to swap to that since PoE2 has been out for a while and it's getting stale.

divines vs exalts kind of remained the same, i am not really sure.
perhaps people are just panic selling, or finally learned how to farm them efficiently :3 not sure.
