Fentanyl is the primary issue. We've had a fentanyl crisis here for years and years which has decimated and slaughtered our population and is ongoing. This crisis then spills into the US through a porous border which is what Trump is mad about.
*We* should be taking this seriously, we shouldn't have to be strongarmed into taking action. This is a pathetic joke. Fentanyl suppliers and distributors should be shot as policy.
We do have a fentanyl crisis, mainly in the West, but that doesn't mean it "spilled" info the US. They have a crisis of their own, and it's not because of fentanyl shipped from Canada. About 20 times more fentanyl moves from the US to Canada than the other way around and ~500 more fentanyl comes from Mexico into the US. The fentanyl produced in Canada is mostly used in Canada, which is an entirely different problem, or it's shipped to Aus and NZ.
I’m wondering why Canada’s leadership folded if Canadians truly believe the US is inconsequential to their survival as a country.
Seems counter productive to keep such a burden around. Guess it’s the socialism in them. Always trying to help the “little guy”.
No one "folded" and no one said the US is inconsequential. Economically speaking both countries are important for each other, but it's your NATO argument we were talking about.
